Xpert Endocervical (Pink Top Xpert Tube)
Urine Kit (Yellow Top Xpert Tube)

Urine, Vaginal, or Endocervical samples are acceptable.

Specimen stability/Retention time

Endocervical Swabs: Placed in Xpert Transport Reagent tubes are stable for 60 days at Room Temp or Refrigerated.
Urine: Must be transfered into Xpert Urine tube within 4 hours of collection if sample is left room temp or 4 days if refrigerated 2-8C.
