Clinical Information

SOX11 (SRY-box transcription factor 11) is a transcription factor involved in embryonic neurogenesis and tissue remodeling. Nuclear SOX11 is expressed in most B- and T-lymphoblastic leukemia/lymphomas and a proportion of Burkitt lymphomas, but only weakly expressed in some hairy cell leukemias.

 

Mantle cell lymphomas show SOX11 expression and it has been suggested to correlate with overall survival.
