Clinical Information

MAL is a nonglycosylated hydrophobic integral membrane protein that forms, stabilizes, and maintains glycosphingolipid-enriched membrane microdomains. MAL is known also as T lymphocyte maturation-associated protein. MAL expression is a specific marker of primary mediastinal large B-cell lymphoma.
